AIANTA News and Media More

As the only organization specifically dedicated to advancing Indian Country tourism across the United States, the American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) serves as the voice and resource for tribes and tribal organizations engaged in cultural tourism.

AIANTA helps tribes develop, sustain, and grow tourism destinations through technical assistance, training and educational resources.

Working on behalf of all 567 federally recognized tribes and Native Hawaiians, AIANTA supports and promotes authentic Indian Country tourism.  We provide technical assistance, training, and resources to tribes, and work hard to make sure that tribal tourism has a voice at the national level.

The American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association is proud to present “American Indians & Route 66,” the guidebook that encourages travelers from around the world to explore the authentic history of Route 66 and experience American Indian culture from Chicago to LA, in person or from the comfort of an armchair. Visit www.americanindiansandroute66.com to learn more about genuine cultural experiences all along Route 66.
