Now Hiring: AIANTA is Seeking a Temporary Data Entry Clerk

The American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association, Inc. (AIANTA) is seeking a well-organized Data Entry Clerk the entry of clear and concise data into one or more platforms so that it is easily accessible and accurate. Experience with Access and Wild Apricot a plus.

Position Title: Data Entry Clerk
Classification: Temporary
Salary Range: $15 per hour, non-benefitted
Supervisor: Tribal Relations Manager
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  1. Operates keyboard to enter data into computer following the format displayed on the screen.
  2. Posts information to records and adds new records
  3. Compares data entered with source documents to detect errors.
  4. Compiles and verifies the accuracy of data to be entered.
  5. Deletes incorrectly entered data, and re-enters correct data.
  6. Resolves issues with bounced emails.
  7. Research missing information from forms (emails, websites, contact person, etc.)
  8. Keeps a record of work completed and prints a PDF report on daily progress.
  9. General administrative and clerical support.

Work Environment:
Work is performed largely in an office environment with little chance for personal injury. Position requires
frequent mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating of computer information.
Work hours are generally during normal business hours between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and averages 20 hours per

  • Knowledge of current office practices, procedures and equipment.
  • Knowledge of records management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in verbal and/or written format.
  • Knowledge of records management and database applications.
  • Must be skilled in operating computers and knowledgeable about various business and accounting software, including Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, and the Access and Wild Apricot database software system.
  • Must be able to research data sources to verify validity of information.

Equipment Operated:
Incumbent utilizes a PC and computer printer for the word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, email
Internet/Internet access, and other specific applications. Incumbent utilizes a keyboard, telephone, fax, office
copier, cell phone and other general office equipment.
