AIANTA welcomes you to join us at the 20th Annual American Indian Tourism Conference (AITC). To celebrate this milestone, we are returning to Albuquerque, New Mexico where the first AITC was launched. This year’s conference theme is 20 years of Tribal Tourism Development – Then and Now. We are excited to be holding the conference at the stunning, newly refurbished Isleta Resort and Casino.

During the conference, you will see the growth and impact of tribal tourism over the last 20 years and recognize the dedicated and passionate people that have influenced AIANTA and the industry along the way. We celebrate the effort and success of those who have worked to perpetuate our individual tribal cultures as we grow our economic base.

We have engaged an impressive list of experts across the tribal tourism industry to bring you a strong understanding of the framework to develop, enhance and expand tribal tourism. In addition to looking at the past 20 years, our speakers will be looking at the current tourism climate and trends and what the next 20 years might hold for tribal tourism development.

We are grateful for our generous partners and sponsors of our 20th anniversary celebration. We hope you will take the time over the course of the conference to talk to and learn from these valuable industry partners and to build your network of support.

In addition to the exceptional training and networking opportunities, our annual regional meetings offer each participant the opportunity to focus in on the needs of their region. Please attend and help guide the work of AIANTA and the future success of Indian Country tourism. Our mission cannot be fulfilled without collective input and efforts.
